The Ravelers love playing this summer concert series at the Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Gardens In Claremont, CA. See their web site:
http://www.rsabg.org
Ann Joslyn asks us if we would be interested in performing, and we jumped on the offer to play our "UnRaveled"
set of semi-acoustic music! This has become one of our favorite summer concerts for the past 4 or 5 years. These photos are from the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin...
Claremont's hometown newspaper...
Claremont is a great place to call, "home".
Before the show setting up, seeing friends.
All the bands that play this concert series love it.
Claremont has a great community that comes out for fun on Monday nights.
All of the summer city concerts are a blast!
Great to see such a diverse crowd having fun!
The Ravelers love playing wedding receptions! We consider it a great honor
to be asked to provide musical fun on such a special day. Here we are loading on to the Queen Mary, not the easiest part of the day.
We had a blast with this fun wedding party...and had the chance to hang with Ray Woodbury, production guru to the stars...
...The Ravelers combined forces with 9-piece
R&B band, Reno Jones(www.renojones.com) at the OC Pavilion Performing Arts Theater for a rockin' bluesy show. Both bands opened the
Show together for a couple of tunes...
The photos were taken by Hannah from the balcony.
Each band played their own set of original songs and fun tunes from rock n roll history...
The OC Pavilion(www.ocpavilion.com) is a really cool 500-seat theater...10 cameras captured the show and the sound was digitally recorded for the purpose of
producing a DVD. The crowd sings out and Reno Jones horns join in...
Everyone really enjoyed seeing both bands play interesting arrangements of some familiar tunes together...
The sound, lighting, and crowd made for a very fun show to play!
Sometimes one of us can't make it to a show due to unavoidable circumstances.
Pat couldn't make this show, but we decided to do it as a trio since the show was only an hour long.
This was at the Pomona Fairplex for the Family Motor Coach Association.
There was a fun afternoon crowd as they prepared to see all the new RV stuff.
We missed Pat...these photos look a bit empty without him, really. Photos by Bob Beeson
...The Ravelers return to the Candlelight Pavilion Dinner Theater
for the 20th anniversary of The Ravelers!
These photos are from the first set.
We want to thank Michael Ryan for producing this concert series,
and Trinity Sound Company for a rockin' sound system!
A huge thank you to Mick Bollinger, General Manager of the Candlelight Pavilion...
thank you for your hospitality and your wonderful staff!
The photos were taken by Hannah.
More first set photos by Hannah...
The first set was a combination of original songs with a mix of fun cover tunes.
The audience enjoyed a wonderful dinner before the show, and dessert during the intermission.
The second set was specially constructed for this Raveler show...
even though it looks much like Prof Higgins' living room from the play "My Fair Lady" that was currently playing at the theater.
The Ravelers wanted it to seem like we were in your living room for the night. You have a nice living room!
The second set of music was also a mix of original Raveler songs and fun covers tunes
The highlight of the night was having original Raveler Collie Coburn return for the 20th Anniversary of the band.
It felt like Collie never left, even though it has been 10 years since he moved out of state.
The Ravelers miss his bass playing, voice, personality, and friendship for the "Raveler Hang".
...Tamara shot these photos of the second set.
More shots of Collie...
and photographer Tamara.
...The Ravelers love playing in golf tournaments.
This Dogusta Tournament is in Cathedral City and is to benefit Alzheimer's Disease.
A great group of folks who know how to have a great weekend in the desert!
We almost like the golf as much as playing music at the dinner dance afterwards!
At least 50% of the fun in this band is "The Hang" with the boys.
If you are organizing a tourney, The Ravelers would love to play golf and music!
The photos were taken by Pat
Swing away...uh...FORE!!!
Need some refreshment for the back 9!
Watch out, we are lookin' for our balls...
When your balls are located, sometimes they need washing.
Pay up, Boys...
...The Ravelers back at the Claremont Summer Concert Series.
A traditional Summer Monday night of fun with the community!
The photos were taken by Hannah
We do love this concert series...for the last 16 years.
Rockin' fun!
Always a nice warm night.
The Ravelers consider it a great honor to be asked to perform at a family event.
Weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries are all very special events. The Grant kids invited The Ravelers to play at their parents'
50th wedding anniversary, a golden day indeed! The happy couple arrived in their all-original 1940 Ford Business Coupe at the newly remodeled Avalon at the Pomona Fairplex.
Family and friends enjoyed the day filled with stories, hugs, great food, and fun music. We in The Ravelers cannot express enough thanks for being invited to be involved in such a special event!
The Ravelers love playing with great musicians!
Darrin ripped it up with The Ravelers all night at the Temecula concert.
Keep an eye open for this up and coming guitar hero...
...The Ravelers love this patio atmosphere at the Doubletree Claremont Hotel!
This evening we celebrated birthdays for Bob, Tamara, Bonnie, and anniversaries for several.
The photos were taken by Debi, Tamara, and Susan.
Susan takes wonderful photos, and you can contact her at
Classic Elegance by Susan in Claremont... http://www.classicelegance.tk/
The Doubletree Claremont is a great place for some Friday fun...
...with friends, family, co-workers. A great place to meet new friends, too!
Bob was celebrating his 60th b-day his his lovely wife, Sonya.
Many friends also came out for the evening of fun. The Ravelers played Bob's 50th birthday, too!
Bob and Sonya work tirelessly for the City of Claremont by volunteering for many community activities that keep the town entertained!
The food and drinks are the best, and the patio at the Doubletree Claremont is the perfect spot for a Friday summer's eve...
...when the night cools down for a perfect party on the patio!
...The Ravelers were asked back to be the family-fun musical entertainment for
Claremont's 4th of July Independence Day Celebration. Great crowd, great sound by Devon and Scott with Trinity Sound Company,
and a wonderful community event! Photos by Hannah.
Hot day, but it cooled off into a very nice evening!
We enjoyed ourselves, and it looks like the crowd had fun, too!
The Ravelers were asked back to be the fun musical entertainment for
Upland's Pet Adoption Fair that is run by Helping Out Pets Everyday... http://www.helpingoutpetseveryday.com/
...a local organization that looks after stray pets.
Another beautiful day at Upland's Memorial Park!
Thank for having us, Margaret!
The Upland Fire Dept cooked up some grub, Ron Stark, the voice of the Inland Empire was the MC,
some cool dogs showed off their stuff, The Upland Police presented Bono, their new police dog, and some got a new home.
Thanks for the photos, Becky Cockrum, reknowned pet photographer... http://www.cockrumphoto.com/
The Ravelers are proud and happy to be a part of Scripps College tradition since 1991,
playing for the students as they enter Scripps as freshmen, as they celebrate the winter holidays, and as they graduate in the spring as seniors.
Seventeen classes of Scripps College students have celebrated their time at this great women's college with The Ravelers...we love that!
These are some of the most fun events we play. There always seems to be a photographer who says he will email photos to us to post here...
but we have yet to see any photos after 17 years.
Anyone have any photos?
While setting up for this UnRaveled acoustic show at the Doubletree Claremont,
Martie became too ill to play the night. We have all been there!
Luckily, David Jeremiah (keyboards, vocals) and Mark Estupinian (guitar, vocals) were there to help out for a few tunes.
The rain also prevented us from having this out on the patio.
Fun was had by all (except Martie) with the gathering of great friends, food, and drinks. We look forward to going back
for an UnRaveled party on the patio in July when the weather will cooperate!
Thanks for the photos, Tamara!

The Ravelers played in front of a Starbucks to a small audience at an outdoor mall in Riverside...lots o' fun as usual!
These two nice ladies (Hannah and Amanda)from San Jose State were great sports, throwin' back what Hai was dishin' out...
There's nothin' better than an audience, large or small, that wants to have some fun! Cell phone photos aren't the best, but these gals were a blast!
Hey...we made it to Inland Empire Magazine, October 2006...in doctor's offices everywhere!
The Candlelight Pavilion Dinner Concert Show in Claremont was what The Ravelers have been yearning to do for years! Photos by Hannah Haerr...
A packed house of enthusiastic folks enjoyed a fantastic dinner and an evening of Raveler original tunes, meaningful songs, and music that is just plain fun to play!
The audience was very generous in letting us know that we should do more concerts like this!
The Candlelight Pavilion is a beautiful theater for an intimate concert! Thank you to Michael Ryan http://www.michaelryanmusic.com and the Candlelight Pavilion for including The Ravelers in their Dinner Concert Series! be sure to check their web site and go see a Dinner Show... http://www.candlelightpavilion.com

The Downtown Upland Second Street Market is a wonderful place to spend a nice summer Thursday evening.

Here's Pat with his nifty new gig rig amp set-up. Rivera-powered hot rod!
A whole bunch af great hot rods came out, too! Only a few showers had drops beading up on these beauties. This is Hai's neighbor's ride.
Great crowd out to enjoy big kid toys and rock n roll. The Montclair Fire Dept raffled off a Harley Fat Boy for a $10 raffle ticket. The proceeds went to a wonderful cause.
We love to be part of these events!
We were very happy that the rain stayed away for the most part.

A special thanks to Scott Hofferber, who hired the bands, created 2 great stages with sound systems, amps, and drumsets. He managed 2 stages, 22 bands, and had very nice people on his crew. Hopefully some of this stuff rubs off to these kids, too...
